…warmly welcomes all new players, from experienced players to beginners, no matter what age. As a club we are always looking for new players. We provide a safe & friendly environment for like minded people to play hockey in. If you are interested in playing with us, why not come down to the pitch on a weekend to hit some balls with us? We usually train the first 3 Sunday’s of every month, at John Orwell Sports Centre in Wapping, London. There is a fee of £5. The fee is to cover the cost of the pitch, balls & other training equipment. We are not a profit making club. We have 3 coaches that run the sessions, they make them fun & easy to understand. No one is left out & the drills are geared to cover all abilities. Wear a good pair of astro’s/trainers & comfortable sports clothing. If you have your own stick & shin pads bring them along. If it’s your first time someone will lend you a hockey stick until you can purchase your own. The training sessions are always finished with a social drink at a local pub. We also organise a number of social events outside of the hockey pitch.
