#HockeyFest! Sunday 11th September 2016
Was a great success with Rio 2016 Olympic Gold, London 2012 Olympic Bronze & 2015 European Gold medallist. England & GB Hockey Player Hannah Macleod joining us. We had over 60 participants at training and many also watching on. It was followed by social drinks in nearby pubs and also a social evening at the RVT. Find out more by visiting our Facebook page.
We are a fully inclusive, sociable and extremely diverse club that particularly encourages participation from the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) community.
Although we are predominantly an LGBT club we are completely open, and do have members of any backgrounds. We aim to provide a fun and supportive environment for all hockey players for all abilities.
You can even join us alongside your current club. As we often train on Sundays and so are our matches.
We’re also an very sociable club and regularly organise nights out in London. As well as drinks after training and regular ad-hoc evenings and events throughout the year organised by members and the committee alike.
Don’t worry if you don’t take your hockey too seriously – you’re more than welcome to join us for a casual training session as well as a few beers! We even have non-playing members who are either currently injured or just very social!
So if you’re interested in learning how to play hockey, join a club along side your current club, or would like to brush up on your skills with some training, even if you don’t play but want to help out in other ways (such as umpiring etc) all with mixed in with a great sociable scene, click here, and join us!
