The London Royals have been playing mixed (guys and girls) hockey for the last 7 years, based at Wapping in London.
Whilst we particularly encourage participation from the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community, we aim to provide a fun and supportive environment for hockey players from all backgrounds.
As well as competing in a league in London, we regularly travel to international events such as the 2011 EuroGames in Rotterdam and the 2009 World Outgames in Copenhagen.
We’re a social club, and regularly organise nights out in London. Don’t worry if you don’t take your hockey too seriously – you’re more than welcome to join us for a casual training session as well as a few beers.
So if you’re interested in learning how to play hockey, or would like to brush up on your skills, click here. We will get back to you with details of upcoming training sessions.
