Sponsor the London Royals
The London Royals are the UK's biggest LGBTQ+ hockey club. We're looking for corporate partners for the 2026/27 season who share our commitment to inclusivity, wellbeing and grassroots sport.
Who you'd be backing
The London Royals are the UK's biggest LGBTQ+ hockey club — and a club that has grown every season for the last five. Here is the shape of what you'd be putting your name to.
| 150+ members | Four men's league teams, two women's league teams, and social mixed hockey. |
|---|---|
| Founded 2005 | Started as a mixed club training on Sundays. Now the UK's biggest LGBTQ+ hockey club. |
| Still growing | Two new teams added in the 2024–25 season, and on track to add another on each side of the club. |
| Becoming a charity | We've applied for CIO status to support our infrastructure and handle that growth. |
| Most Inclusive Club | Voted Out for Sport's Most Inclusive Club in 2023. We're proud partners of Out for Sport, and members of Pink Hockey, the international body for LGBTQ+ hockey. |
We’re part of two organisations a partner should know about:
- Pink Hockey — we’re members of the international body for LGBTQ+ hockey, connecting us to clubs in Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Australia.
- Out for Sport — we’re proud partners of the charitable body supporting grassroots sports clubs.

What your sponsorship pays for
-
01
Keeping subs and match fees down
Hover for moreSponsorship goes straight into reducing what members pay to play, and can cover the cost of new shirts — easing the financial burden on players.
-
02
A subsidised first year for new members
Hover for moreWe subsidise hockey for new members in their first year, so that cost isn't what decides whether someone joins while they're still settling into the club.
-
03
Pride Cup and Trans Sports Day
Hover for moreOur two flagship events exist because someone funds them. Trans Sports Day gives trans and nonbinary people taster sessions across a range of sports — no pressure, no experience needed — in a community that faces real barriers to entry.
-
04
Equipment and league costs
Hover for moreKit and league fees for players who need them and don't have the means to pay for them themselves.
-
05
Outreach that brings new people in
Hover for moreReaching underrepresented LGBTQ+ communities and bringing them into a supportive sporting environment — the part of the work that doesn't fund itself.
What your organisation gets
-
01
Visibility across London hockey — and beyond it
Hover for moreYour name and logo in front of players and spectators across 31 divisions of the London Hockey Leagues, and internationally at the Gay Games, EuroGames and Pink Hockey tournaments.
-
02
Your brand across our channels
Hover for moreWith your consent, your name and logo on our website, across our social media, in our regular club newsletters, and on any relevant communication material.
-
03
A reputation you can evidence
Hover for moreWe'll help you build your standing as a socially responsible organisation, and generate positive PR opportunities around it — with a club that has been covered by DIVA, England Hockey and the FIH.
-
04
Real engagement, not just a logo
Hover for moreOpportunities to engage with our community directly through events and content — including invitations to club social and hockey events for your team.
-
05
A local partner with two decades behind it
Hover for moreAssociation with a well-established sporting club and charity with a genuine London focus — running since 2005, and growing.

What members say
We have a strong social media and public presence and excel at recruitment. We generally foster a positive and aggro-free community both socially and on the pitch. The work on England Hockey's trans policy was both impressive and inspiring. To a certain extent, we act as a second family to members, which cannot be said for a lot of clubs.
Most teams have been just a way to play hockey, but with the Royals it feels more like a family. People always come up and say hi and you end up speaking to way more than just the folks you play with on a Saturday.
I've been a hockey player from a young age, however after many years of playing and enjoying the competitive sport I sought an environment that allowed me to be myself.
